The idea of a "loot" bag came about because I was once given a change pouch purse with a gatetop opening. It was very original and practical and every time I took it out to give someone change, the person would say "That's really neat! Where did you get that from?" I would say that it was a gift and that I didn't know where they were sold. I heard this for years and one day decided to design and make my own as I thought I could sell them. What I did, however, is design a fashionable larger one, along with the change purse, which could be used as a small purse and attach to your belt so that you could be active and not have to worry about carrying a big purse around.
At the time I was designing my first loot purse, I was into swing dancing and riding motorcycles. I found there were times when you didn't want to carry a regular sized purse but needed to carry some essentials on your person such as keys, your license, money or lipstick. Therefore, I thought of a means of attaching a pouch purse to a belt to keep these possesions on your person for safe keeping and hands free mobility. I decided to call this pouch purse a "loot" bag since it holds a persons small loot and other valuable or essential items. The loot bag is snapped to a loot bag holder which then slides onto a belt. It hangs, hands-free, off of the waist of a person wearing a belt. Lisa's loot bags are currently under a provisional trademark.
